Rick Wilson, Guide
Rick Wilson is a veteran school teacher and coach of thirty-seven years; but he has been an avid fly fisherman for over forty-five years.
Rick's life long love of fly fishing compelled him to create Fbg Outfitters. Not only is Rick active in 2 fishing clubs:
- HCFF (Hill Country Fly Fishers)
(president 2006) - FFF (Fredericksburg Fly Fishers).
Rick also helped to establish a fishing lease at Crabapple Creek especially for winter trout fishing and has been featured in two television shows:
- Cabela's Americana Outdoors
- PBS's The New Fly Fisher featuring Rick as the guide.
To follow his fly fishing dream Rick has retired from teaching and now devotes all his efforts to providing top notch fly fishing services complete with local guide service, a fly shop, and comfortable lodging for his clients.
Rick's love of fly fishing has proved itself with the great success of Fbg Outfitters.
