owner, Martin Pursch Martin Pursch began fly fishing in 1973 while living in Seattle and has fly fished in most western states since. He retired in 1990, opened the Country Flyfisher Shop and co-founded the popular Heart of the Hills Flyfishers Club. Martin offers classes at his shop and also teaches flyfishing for the local Community Education, local B&Bs. He has organized events for Texas Parks and Wildlife and the Texas Womens' Flyfishers — as seen on "The New Fly Fisher" on PBS. When Martin is not fishing or teaching, he is busy tying files for saltwater and fresh water gamefish. Martin is also an expert on fishing the Texas Hill Country. Martin's flies are available commercially and in the Fly Shop. Stop by and see Martin at his "candy store" for fly fishers. |
